Storyville has developed an enviable reputation since its launch more than a decade ago.
Screening over 340 films, from some 70 different countries, the strand has achieved a staggering array of awards including; five Oscars, fifteen Griersons, three Peabodys and two International Emmys.
MOST RECENTLY: STORYVILLE - RED CARD
This film explores the murder of the wife of the Iranian team's former star player, Nasser Mohammad Khani, in 2002.
Shahla, Khani's mistress, was convicted of the crime, and her continuing appeal to escape the death sentence has gripped the nation.

During the court proceedings, details of the four-year relationship between the player and Shahla emerged - including revelations of opium smoking and Shahla's status as Khani's “temporary wife”.
